If you’re an avid diver you’ll be happy to know I’ve got some new stickers up on Etsy. I’m really in love with the holographic Diver sticker and think the tiny scuba tank is adorable too. I’ve got plans to make some more soon too but wanted to get these few out into the world. A bit more about each sticker, in case you’re curious:

Cave cookie / directional line marker sticker

I made this one a couple of years ago actually when I was first learning to use Procreate. I had some text alongside it initially (got cookies?) which I felt quite proud of but which I chose to remove as I though the “general” might sell better. I’m always looking for ideas and taking suggestions though so if you have them, reach out please. Hopefully this one will appeal to all the cave divers, current and aspiring!

You can buy these stickers on Etsy here. If you’d like to talk to me about bulk orders especially for your dive shop, please message on Etsy.

Hammerhead shark in kelp sticker

Okay, I have something to admit: I did not technically design this one. My mom did 🙂 She was the one who initially drew the design. I think she was dabbling with drawing designs just for fun, or to make me a card but when I happened upon it one day in her house, I was bowled over. It was so cute! So, when I started experimenting in Procreate, I decided to turn her design into a sticker. I added the Kelp background as I had downloaded a lovely set of kelp brushes, and I added a sort of webbed lighting feel to it to give it a surface. I’ll share my mom’s original design here too as I think it’s adorable. I also turned it into a cute little illustrated GIF for her for a bday text, mostly because I was learning to animate in Procreate.

Diver down graffiti sticker

Okay, tell me honestly, what kid didn’t practice turning their name into graffiti? While I didn’t spray paint any walls, my notebook sure went through its stint of tagging. And here’s my rationale, beyond a return to childhood whimsy, for this design: many people don’t know what that diver down flag means and if you’re trying to shout “diver here” loud and proud, well the traditional flag just isn’t doing its job. This is my attempt to close the gap and educate the non-diving masses. Plus, it just looks cool. Which brings me to the alternative version of this sticker…up next!

Holographic diver down graffiti sticker

The rationale for this one, which is technically the same sticker as the one above, came down to sparkle. Yep, that’s it. I love holographic stickers and wanted to experiment. I figured because there were only a couple of colors in this one it would be a good contender. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out though snapping pictures that actually show the sparkle is weirdly hard. The next step will be making seriously large sized versions of this one so that it can go on car bumpers. Any takers?!

Mini Scuba Tank “Scuba is Life” Sticker

Who needs tank info when you can have a teeny tiny “scuba is life” strapline? Inspo for this tank was pure cuteness. Okay, and maybe a drop of Ted Lasso. I intend to do this for a few items of scuba gear so if you’ve got requests, please put them in. For this one, though it isn’t perhaps obvious because the sticker is fairly small, I experimented with a new-to-me style that I’ve come to love: painting outside the lines. There are a couple of ways I do this. I use paint drops in a reference (the outline of the drawing) and then drag the paint slightly out of bounds, or I paint it in manually which creates a looser messier version that looks cute. This one used the former technique though other stickers I’ve since been working on use the latter.

I’ve also been working on some non-diving stickers. Yes, I do have other interests too! But I likely won’t post about those here. You can always peruse my shop if you’re curious.

If you have ideas, requests, or custom orders you’d like to place, just message me. Otherwise, happy sticking!
